what do u guys use to carry your tools to the hives?
The Merrills Tool Box I bought at Brushy Mountain! I would not keep bees without it!

I bought all my friends bee stuff and the tool box came with it along with a frame holder and frame grip. I would not leave the house without these three tools. They make working the bees so much more pleasant!
I use a 5-gallon bucket, it's cheap (free in this case) and effective.
I use a Merrill's toolbox as well and I really like it. There's a place for everything and it can double as a swarm catcher. Still it is hard to argue with the cost:benefit of a free 5 gallon bucket.
Use an old deep hive box with plywood screwed in the bottom. Also works as a chair when turned on its side and can hold frames if needed. Leave it out and the bees will clean all the sticky off of it for you.
I carry a hive tool in my pocket, smoker in in my my hand.
I have the merril and I have a bee brief. Both can be used as a nuc to hive a swarm. The merril makes a good stool to sit on.
A tool box.

I have to agree with danno;
It seems to me the more experienced you get the less " tools " you need too carry !
