Post by: muradulislam on June 27, 2011, 03:05:05 AM
I could not get brewer or torula yeast and my bees had alot of brood and virtually no pollen so started feeding soyabean flour which i had to get ground myself. will it help. i read somewhere that bees are very interested in layer food if they have no pollen, can i use it???

If there is an actual dearth of pollen such things as sawdust, cornmeal, flour of various kinds, or any powder that might have some nutritional value well attract bees.  That's why brewer's yeast mixed with soy flour and sugar is a common homebrew feed.
