Title: queen pulls larva?
Post by: Kathyp on July 15, 2011, 04:36:03 PM
was watching my very prolific new queen in the observation hive.  she went head down into a cell and pulled out the larva.  the workers took it away and she left the area.

didn't think queens did anything buy lay and kill rivals......

insights?

The larva must have looked like one of her ex-husbands.

Really, Kathy that is very strange.  Never heard of anything like that.

Um...technically they are all former husbands... ex-husband suggests that they are still alive!

My thought was there was one that was talking back really bad!!
