Title: Cub scout visit
Post by: BjornBee on September 13, 2011, 04:57:05 PM
Last evening I hosted one of the local cubscout packs out to my home yard. The honey tasting went very well. They were all amazed going out to the beeyard.

I mentioned the botscout patch and the efforts to get the beekeeping patch reinstated, and all they wanted to talk about was how they all received their new 2011 badge just previously approved..... "Video Game" Patch.

Hard to compete with video games.

I've done that with my kids school, Cub Scouts and now do it with Boy Scouts.  I'm one of our Boy Scout troop leaders.  With all of those kids I can't help but think there will be some that will continue on after me.
