Title: Honey Jars
Post by: Chad S on July 14, 2005, 03:56:15 PM
I am looking for glass Queen Line jars 1lb. and 2lb.  I would like to pick the jars up rather than pay postage.  I live in N. Eastern MA.  Any suggestions?  I have a quote from Andler 1lb. jar .55 ea. if I buy a gross, and 2lb. jars are .75 ea. if I buy a gross.  I am open to alternatives as well.

Also I was over in W. Concord MA the other evening with my son, and we saw quite a few honey bees foraging on some flowers.  Any one from here keeping bees in that area, or should I be looking for a wild coloney?

There are many bee hives in the Concord/Carlisle area. Mine are in Concord, and there are quite a few people in the Middlesex County Beekeepers Assoc. that live in Concord, Carlisle, Acton, Chelmsford, etc.

But who knows who's they were unless you checked the bar codes
