Title: Does Brazilian Pepper make bees mean?

I inspected all of my hives over the weekend and my bees were the meanest that I have ever seen them. The pepper has been in bloom for over two weeks now and I think that I once heard an old beek say that the pepper makes them that way.

Anybody know if that's true?
