Hello!
I am new to the forum, and am here to learn. I can see that I will be doing a lot of reading. I hope to get to know y'all and decide if beekeeping is for my family. Any advice is most welcome!
Thanks,
Hello and Welcome!
I'm sure you'll find this forum to be a great site to learn more about bees and beekeeping.
If you're interested in becoming a beekeeper, one of the best things you can do is get involved with a local club. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes, and are great places to find mentors and get connected to nearby beekeepers:

There are a multitude of good websites on beekeeping, I recommend these as good places to start:

Nearly 100 online beginner's lessons (scroll down, on right)

Welcome to the forum.
Read, read, and then read some more. A lot of valuable information from very experienced beeks (myself not included) is here for the taking. Welcome.
Welcome to the site. You came to the right place. Larry

Bee keepers are a pretty opinionated bunch! Take what people say with a grain a salt. None of us have God's manual on how to run the honey bee ;)
