I checked around and found it on the internet for about $8/# retail and saw other prices around $5.  I sold mine for $5 and determined that it is absolutely not worth the time or effort to clean and render it in smaller quantities...hate to waste it, but I will either give it away unrendered or throw it away from here on out.

thats a good retail price from a suplier--not from a store--wax holds its price most of the time
right now the hot price increse is for pollen it was $4.25 lb this spring now it is holding at $7.00
and thats before any mark up--RDY-B

Not all wax is equal.  Color/quality can vary significantly and price reflects that.

beware of price reflects that--there is no doubt that grades of wax are a precursor
for buying--but perceived value inflates the price of anything whether its wax honey or pollen
