Tomorrow: Periods of rain and snow. Cold. Temps nearly steady in the mid 30s. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precip 90%. 2 to 4 inches of snow expected.
here we go :'(
Sounds like you might as well move to Michigan :-D
Ya'll keep that mess up there.
Around here when they (weather people) talk snow, everyone runs to the store for milk and bread - then nothing happens for a few days or weeks. Except people with cars start playing tag. -Mike

Yeah, what Allen said. :-D
We are having the nights in the 30's and days in the 40's to 50's, with lots of rain. As of this morning's paper, year to date we've had 55.8 inches of rain. Normal is 32.02 inches. :-x :( :-\ :'(. to make it worse, NWS is saying to expect 40% more snow than average this winter! Yuck!
Dang global warming.
It's Gore's fault.
its snowing as we speak  I cant ever remember it snowing in oct, crazy
YUK !!! Just as they said. We got the wet snow that was in the forecast and broke tree limbs that still had leaves on and lost power for about 5 1/2 hrs. today.
Snow is a good insulator for your bees though :)

Actually it probably is global warming. Storms are heat engines that feed on temperature differentials. Warm air coming off the ocean has more moisture in it. When this meets arctic air you get weird storms. I don't know what it will take to convince some people. Texas was on fire this summer. Temperatures in the 100s for months, no rain..... and still the climate deniers.
And sadly, it is now too late to avoid some very serious consequences. :(
People get focused on the term global warming...we are all going to get a bit warmer right????
Global warming is on average: doesn't mean you will get warmer locally...but it does mean that your weather patterns and seasonal norms are going to change, change can be a difficult thing. Rapid change can be devastating.
To be honest, I don't mind the fact that our local winters have been milder for the past years. I am not so excited about all the flooding, late freezes, and humid summer heat that seems to come along with it.
Please, can I have some of that cool aid??
The only thing making the weather worse overall, is better reporting. You never heard of it before modern day electronics gave us world coverage within seconds. It was there, tho
All right, I knew I should have left this one alone.
I'm sunburned and sweaty! 8-)
Ain't it funny how people always make fun of the old folks talking about how cold it used to get like they just imagined it? If an honest look is taken at weather for the last thousand years, one sees it get warmer and cool off again. They used to grow wine grapes in England a thousand years ago. They used to grow figs in Paris a thousand years ago. Still too cold now. Most of the pastures the Norse settlers in Greenland grazed are still under ice and snow year round. We are just returning a tad to the norm. We can talk about weather, cuss weather, but we can't change it even if we try.
Weather will happen,whether or not!!!
