I finally finished watching all 8 videos. The hives and frames that we use today are much easier to harvest honey from. I'm still amazed at the smokers that they used! I really enjoyed watching these videos! Larry

Just finished them. Great videos. Good to know the history and see the entire Skep apiary process from start to finish.
Those are great videos to watch. There are many things to be learned by watching those videos that can't be learned anywhere else.
I had learned in the past that when early american beekeepers used skeps that they would burn the bees and wax to remove it from the skeps. I guess all we know about history is not necessarily correct.
