Title: Greetings from Missouri
Post by: Bubbles on November 07, 2011, 10:11:18 AM
I'm a newbee wanna-bee.   :)  And I've been doing my best to learn how to care for bees before my package order actually arrives next Spring.  I have one hive ordered and another in the process of completion.  All I need to do is make more top bars.

I hope to learn from this forum on how to care for my bees when they get here.
To the administrator, thank you for approving my membership.

find a beekeepers association or a bee club very helpful for beginners

To Bluebee,

I decided to borrow my three-wheeled motorcycle's name.   And the reason I named it Bubbles is because when you look at its back side, the rounded fenders look like bubbles.   :)

To Shorty3,

My husband and I have attended a beekeeper's club in a town about 40 miles from us.  Also, we plan on taking a basic and advanced beekeeping course offered in a Technical school of the same town.  However, the instructors use National hives.  Still, they could teach us a lot about beekeeping so we went ahead and registered.  In the meantime, it's good to have forums like this one to learn from.

To Larry Bees and AllenF:  Thank you for welcoming me to the site.
