what do you want to know?  there's lots of info on the web.  the claim is that it helps with everything from energy to neuropathy.  some people sting every day.  some every week or so.

is there something specific you are interested in?

I know two people who used bee venom therapy for their MS for decades.
They very strongly claim it helped.

Has your friend ever been stung by a wasp or bee?
How did they react?

If normal pain and swelling, then you could proceed cautiously.

Sterilize the sting sight just like they do for shots.
Then just one sting, scrape off before it all goes in, observe reaction while they sit quietly.
You could play cards for an hour with them. Have a cool non-alcoholic drink.
Have a benidryl handy, maybe even an epi-pen.

They could use benidryl or cortizone cream to help with the itchyness.

Wait a few days, then do a full sting.

Wait a few days, then again.

Once the swelling reaction subsides, my friends would do 2 to 5 stings a day, depending on how they felt.
After a few years, maybe only a couple every three days.

It doesn't cure or stop the disease, just slows it down.
Not everyone can do it.
After some complications with other medical treatments and hospitalation, the younger friend could no longer use it. He claimed it was because of what they shot him up with in the hospital. He blew up like a balloon.

The other, in her 80's and now wheel chair-bound is going downhill and had to stop use.
She had been given 6 months, 20+ years ago. She was able to know in-laws & grandchildren.
When she was first trying it and decided it might help, her husband went to my dad for help in setting up his own hive. He has been a beekeeper eversince and now a young grandson has been one for years with his own hives.

Goodluck  to you and your friend.

Let me know if any questions.

Irwin,

Listen to the podcast I did with Amber Rose ->  http://robo.bushkillfarms.com/bee-acupunture-with-dr-amber-rose/ (http://robo.bushkillfarms.com/bee-acupunture-with-dr-amber-rose/)

She spent many of years working with Charles Mraz and traveled all over the world with him.   I have provided bees for her classes and patients,  and can put you in contact with her if your interested.   She is a very compassionate person and is always willing to advise and help.
