Title: European Automated Bee Brush
Post by: LordandPerkins on December 05, 2011, 06:01:31 PM
Recently, i was perusing the topics on Bee Houses and ran across a video of a Beekeeper who was extracting honey from the hives in his bee house.  He used two rotating cylindrical brushes to remove the bees from each individual frame.  The bees fell into a chamber underneath which the beekeeper then shook into a bucket that was used to empty them back into the hive.

I lost track of that Video and would be very interested if anyone has come across it or has any information on the rotating brush gizmo that he was using.

Yeah I remember that! Saturday mornings.... Mr Gadget!  An automated bee brush! Really??? Mankind never ceases to amaze me! Now if they can just come up with a cheap and efficient way to store solar energy.  Sorry didn't mean to sound condescending.
