How do you guy's & gal's winter your bees in colder climates.

I winter mine with an insulated box made of 1 1/2" thermax insulation placed over the top of the hive.
This is my second winter running this system. Looks good so far but we have not had our usual temperature extreams here this winter in Minnesota.
