Title: Hello from the Otways, Victoria, Australia.
Post by: T.Hex on December 26, 2011, 07:25:49 AM
Hello, I'm a learner, one hive. I've had it for 6 weeks.

Loads of questions, but I'll start with: DEAD BEES. I have about 25 per week, dead, on the ground at the entrance to the hive. They don't look diseased. Should I be worried?

Welcome   :)

And a quick bit of advice from a fellow newbee...two hives are better than one.    :bee:     :bee:

Welcome to the forum and with the dead bees, since you are in the middle of summer, I bet you are loosing hundreds of bees a day.   Look at how many the queen has been laying all spring.  And what really matters is what does it look like inside the hive.
