Title: Hi!
Post by: GBov on January 09, 2012, 09:32:21 AM
Hi  :) I was looking online to find an answer to our wax moth problem and I found you folks instead.  My hubby bought me a couple of hives for Mothers day last year and we have had such fun with them.  And many pounds of the best honey I have ever tasted but the learning curve on bees is something else, isn't it?

Welcome to the site.

Wax moths killed me this year. They attack weak hives. I saved a couple of nucs that had the moths by taking out the frame that they were in and replaced it with a frame of brood. I know that it's almost impossible to do that now.

I then freeze the frame that they were in to kill them. Good luck!
