Title: Paint question... Spray paint (enamel?) over acrylic latex???
Post by: Intheswamp on February 26, 2012, 11:11:56 AM
I've got some boxes I want to use for swarm traps that have been painted with (white) exterior acrylic latex.  I'm not sure of the type (it's sitting at work right now) of spray paint I picked up to camouflage the boxes but it's the less than $4 kind from Lowes.  I figure it's an enamel of sorts.  Will this work over the latex?  I'm not looking for showcase quality....just something that won't peel for a couple of years.

Thanks!
Ed

Enamel paint can be used over almost anything except lacquer.
