Well I caught another small swarm right before nightfall and thanks to Mister Baileys advice those little gals got in that cardboard box with not too much fuss. It was about a cabbage ball size and will be transferring them in main hive in the morning. I got jealous of JP and Shawee catchin all them bees I just had to get me some too.
You're not a rookie anymore X:X X:X X:X
Thanks Blue! Just by talkin to a few folks I have located three wild hives in just a week and have a swarm box by one right now trying to catch another swarm. Just have to learn as I go and some good advice from fellow bee keepers.
Way to go Blanc, and maybe you can get the other's you have already found.

Awesome! :-D
My swarm traps are out but I'm running with a tower crew in East Texas, supervising their installations on some of our towers. I'm sure we a few swarms flying this week. Last week was nothing but clouds and rain. This week we're warm, the sun is out and, I'm sure, swarms are flying. Hopefully, some have found my traps. I will not be able to check them until Sat. at the earliest. At the rate this crew is going I will not be done with them until the end of next week.
Nice, blanc. Congrats!
Well done.
