So our weather has been less than spring like for about 2 weeks (snow, rain, hail, ect.) Yesterday and today were our first sunny days since the end of February. Today when I went outside I saw this. Yesterday when I opened up the hives I saw no poop on the frames.

I did tear one bee apart and found normal brown and yellow stomach contents.
I don't see much to worry about.Especially if they were crawling around warming in the sunshine after being cooped up for a while. If the inside of the hive is clean,I would say your fine.

Ken, thanks for the article.
There isn't nearly enough poop. You sure you have bees in there? ;) After a long confinement I would expect a lot of poop...
