Title: Small Cell Foundation.
Post by: Barnabus on August 15, 2005, 03:25:12 PM
Hi:
I am in the process of regressing my bees to SC and need foundation. Is there anyone out there that makes there own SC foundation that would consider selling some, about 100 sheets, med perferd but will accept what I can get.
I know I can get it from Brushey Mt and From Dadant but i have heard of some trouble with the strength.
Appreciate any information
Thanks
Barney

Also, I don't know if Dee Lusby has her fully automated press up and running yet, but she is planning to sell small cell foundation on clean wax.  Her's is thick and has no cell wall.  That way the bees can rework anyway they like, but the small cell imprint is there to give them a pattern to go with.  Hopefully she'll be up and running soon.  She's probably busy with the harvest right now.
