I'm on my way to have a look. Its an established colony in the wall of the house. Its been there a few months.

How'd you go with it Shane? Did you start a trapout?

I'm curious to hear about this one as well. Sounds like someone trying to get a free cutout done, but that could be just the cynic in me coming out  :-D

You would be correct. It is a colony that has been established for 3-4 months. The inside of the house has just been renovated so the job has to be done from the outside. Exterior is chamfer board and is outside my capabilities. I have contacted  a builder that I do work for (also a beek) and have requested he do a quote to remove and refit the boards.

I'll keep you updated.

I should also mention that the fact I dont have a bee vac is delaying the removal. I'm in the process of building one though.

I think a Cleo Hogan trap out is in order.

Could you cut them out from the inside?

No, the inside has just been renovated so they don't want to tear it down. The outside hasn't been done yet so they don't mind a bit of damaged paint.
