Title: Hope bees are staying inside!
Post by: Vance G on March 30, 2012, 05:07:24 PM
It is sunny and sixtyfive today and the straightwinds are 44 mph with gusts near sixty!  If any bee comes out they will be in the next cxounty.  I tried to work outside myself cleaning flowerbeds but it is  impossible.  I am getting wimpy in my old age.

I'll trade you.  Rain, Sleet, Cold, Thunder, and few flakes of snow.  March has returned to Michigan.

Bees are probably appreciating my foam insulation today.  I saw them peeking out the entrances this morning, but staying put.

I would gladly trade, we need the moisture and this wind is not helping.

Got off work yesterday after watching a beautiful warm spring day all day long through the windows.  After driving a mile and a half towards the beach I was under heavy cloud cover and it felt about 25 degrees cooler.  I was told a fog bank was threatening to roll in all day.  It was so cold (don't laugh) that only about 5% of the normal traffic was flying, the rest were hunkering down inside.

I might take a look again tomorrow.

Hope all you folks get some better weather.  It was cloudy this morning here, got a sprinkle.  Then back in lower 80's and sunny.
