Title: Is a week enough?
Post by: RangerBrad on April 05, 2012, 08:22:33 PM
A week ago I split a hive and moved the original queen and a few frames and left the old hive and a new queen. If I brought them back would I experience drifting of bees back to the old hive? Thanks', Brad

I have moved hives only within the same bee yard, but my experience is that after bout two days the bees have the location of home figured out.
