Title: Mega swarms
Post by: asprince on April 06, 2012, 08:36:03 AM
We have seen lots of mega swarms this year around some of the commercial bee yards. Meaning it takes two or more deep hive bodies to hold them. Do swarms from multiple hives combine? It is hard to believe that all those bees come from one hive.

I have seen video of swarms from yards that they were filling package bees out of.   All the lost bees were piling up I would guess.
