Hello,
I've been doing some practice inlay pieces after I was given the tools to do mother of pearl inlays from someone who does beautiful inlays for a banjo maker. It took a while because it involved setting up a workshop. So I thought I'd make something for one of my bee mentors who's helped me out.

Bee-utiful.
VERY NICE!!!
Lone, that's just beautiful! I've been a pro woodworker for over 30 (hence hardwood) and I love this piece! Are you still trying to make it to Bud's this year? I've just gotta give you a big hug at some point and jump on the list waiting to become your mentor!!

Very Nice! :-D
Very nice,Lone :)
Wow, nice job! Where's that mentor line again? ;)

Thanks, folks. I've tried inlay before using carving tools and the wrong kind of saw, and that ended up very rough. I'm in shock that a pro woodworker likes it. Do you have any woodworking projects aside from supers you could show us, Scott? I won't get to Bud's this year unfortunately, although I would love to be able to stand on his pedestal. Don't let anyone else on my pedestal, will ya Bud?
I've just realised that every member of beemaster is my mentor..oh no..I can just see I'll be burning the fluorescent light at both ends.

Just gorgeous!
Thanks, ME.
I feel like I'm talking to myself there :-D
