Post by: duck on April 18, 2012, 12:05:32 AM
(http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a311/Ducksmasher/photobucket-18270-1334717252345.jpg)

they hit the wall on friday, the homeowner didnt start calling till yesterday..  get there today and it seems they had a partial move in? but were undecided as the scouts were filling the air.  Got all them on the outside with a vaccum as I couldnt knock em down because of the all the pipes below.  setup a cone on the entrance.. I put the bees in a deep and they did the thing.  I think there is a sho enuf queen in the box, gotta look in the day tomorrow.

Question for you, Duck: How common is it to find a swarm that big in your area? Thanks

that is getting to be common.  most are soccerballs, but basketballs are starting to show up, the swarms are getting larger not smaller, I think the mild winter with early warmup had them building up real quick here.
