Title: Need help fast
Post by: javah on April 28, 2012, 08:10:12 PM
I have 4 hives. About 10 feet from my
Hive I have a small amount of bees (about the size
Of a golf ball)with a queen in the middle
This is the second day for them to do this
They weren't here early in the morning.
They will show up around 10 am
Are these from my hives.   What should
I do with them if anything

Is it a virgin queen?  What did you do with the last one?

I have run across queens outside of a hive.   Leave them there.  I bet she is trying out her luck with the boys.  If she has a home, she will return to rule over.  If not, don't worry about it.

Darn I hope I did not mess up

I put her in a queen cage and the bees
Around her in a old packaged bee container
How should I let them back out.
