I am happy as a bug in a rug. Received phone call to get a swarm out of the tree. When I got there there was nice size ball of bees attached to a tree limb about 2 feet above the ground. So my very first swarm took it really easy on me. Right now I have 3 hives in my bee yard, one box trapping out the tree and on Tuesday I'm removing colony from a porch. Season just started and considering that I started with zero this year I think it's going okay. All feral bees.
Great! I love Mutts also. :-D

Congrats czman! You're going to be overflowing with bees before too long :)
Thanks guys. I started this season with things I never done before but thanks to this forum and youtube one can learn how to do a lot of stuff. My first job was a cutout from a tree, than I caught swarm in one of my traps, got one box trapping out and now, this coming Tuesday, removal from a house. It looks like I get to do it all. All through my adventures acquiring my bees I was on this forum asking one question after another and I could not be happier with all the replies I received on each subject. You guys are the best and i can not thank you enough. There is nothing like getting some free bees and building up your apiary.
Thank you all
Paul

I'll second that. :)

After I picked up my first swarm I received phone call the very next day to pick up another swarm. I did advertise in a form of business cards and placed a small add on the web. Dealing with web on everyday basis and selling goods through the Internet I know how hard it is to pick up business from it. However, my little advertisement, which was by the way free, brought me so far 50% of my bees. So, to all of you guys and galls that are looking for a good place to advertise, go to Bees On The Net (http://www.bees-on-the-net.com/#) and put your little add there.
By the way, my second swarm brought me even more business. The very same place has bees in their tree (cause of the swarm) and I will be trapping them out. So the advertising on the web will bring over 57% of my bees.
