Title: Swarm moved into a bait hive 4/6/2012
Post by: yockey5 on May 24, 2012, 07:26:22 PM
I left it alone accept for 1 quart of 2:1 sugar syrup. Today I went into it and they have 5 deep frames of capped brood, !/2 frame of eggs and larvae, 1/2 frame of honey and very little pollen stores. I am thinking they have cutback waiting on the hatch-off (any day now methinks). Absolutely no drone brood yet. Pollen is being carried in. I am thinking they are doing well.
