How appropriate that Emil & I removed a nice little colony from underneath the burner of a brand new covered barbecue pit a few days before Memorial day! Remember the pictures of the one that guy sprayed that have been circulating around on the net the last several years?
This wonderful colony was removed without any smoke whatsoever & are now in a medium set up enjoying our very warm weather down south. Hope everyone has an enjoyable & safe Memorial day!

BBQ Pit Bees (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEAfzMFdE40#ws)
The amazing honeybee! Thanks JP.
So I didn't see any video of you'll cooking your lunch while cutting them bees out. Perfect way to smoke the bees while firing up some meat. Good video JP. And nice find with that queen.
We actually did light the burner to see if some of the wax underneath would melt & run off & it did!

As of this morning, I now have 4 hives on my back porch. Another swarm showed up sometime yesterday in a nuc trap I have stored there. My wife loves to cook on the grill. She smokes those bees up real good with the grill. I may post some video of her cooking with just the 3 hives then from a couple weeks back. And all the hives were swarms that landed on traps I put on the rail of the porch. I am going to have to move some boxes out to the yard real quick.
You guys are always having to much fun, what a way to make a living! I want to trade jobs! :-D
Another great video! Thanks JP!
