Title: flowers.
Post by: duck on May 30, 2012, 03:03:06 AM
look at these yummy flowers.. indian blanket, mexican hat, and thistle.  my soapberry trees were in full blast off mode too.  had the bees fill a medium in a week, I will be collecting the seed  pods in a couple of weeks and filling 5 gallon buckets.  then Ill start to spread them later on.  We dont mow and have started covering fields with flowers just spreading by hand/golf cart.  I started transplanting Haujillo and Cats claw as well.  Ill see if they make it with the higher elevation though..

Wow, that looks great. I wish we could get the state to plant the roadways like that. Would cut down on maintenance.
