Title: What IS The Best Home Made Propolis Trap?
Post by: bee-nuts on May 31, 2012, 12:42:22 PM
What is the best way to collect propolis?  Is there a cheap way to drive the bees nuts and get them to collect tons of propolis? Yes I want to collect tons of it!  How much can be collected by one hive on a good year?

Nylon window screen on top of the hive (undr the cover(s) of course). Once the bees fill it you can freeze it the flex it to crack the propolis off. How much depends on lots of variables.
