Title: Inspection and Honey Reserves
Post by: keito on June 09, 2012, 06:16:10 PM
After inspection this morning it seems that our best hive seems to be the one with the least Honey reserves. Should this be a concern or is it the large population consuming the Honey. What can be done to help them? Already feeding sugar syrup. Thanks for the help!

Still early in the season.   Are honey supers on the hive?   How old of a hive and how many boxes?

Just slow building.   Give them time.   You can feed in the fall if they are light.
