Looks like we are in the path of the Debster.. keeping my fingers crossed for it tuo turn west. A friend of mine lost his colonies during TS Fay a few years ago.

We will keep ours crossed for you. Was hoping it would come a little closer to here, not here just closer, could use some rain. Good luck with your bees in the storm.
Joe
We needed the rain but not the winds. I tried to check my weather station on the web to see what the totals are for today but it appears offline at the moment.

Been raining here for 3 days straight with the occasional blows and it looks like we've got a couple of days to go yet. NOT good bee weather!

I wish we could get some of that rain up here.

here too. but the key word is SUM.
they say its still going northeast. It may head towards Savannah. so we may get some of it. we are getting the clouds. dark but no rain in them yet. most of the rain is south of interstate 16 and east of interstate 75 by the radar. maybe Tuesday?
Deb is coming my way also, just hoping that the hives are protected enough behind the shop. Got them up on cinder blocks so they won't wash away.
Fortunately ole Deb decided to turn east... thats good since we can't get to the beach house on Alligator Point since the road washed out and flooding in Sopchoppy. Some areas in Wakulla Co just south of me had over 20 inches of rain through yesterday. I received alittle over 10in over 3 days...

I think Deb is trying to say something about giving Florida a bath, a long bath since she is happy there.
