is highly toxic to bees...but for how long after it's sprayed?
There's a small tree farm close by and it would be an ideal place for some honeybees, but for the fact that the owner sprays Permethrin for pine beetle (really bad problem in these parts) in the early Spring. Is that a situation that can be managed by moving or locking in the bees for a few days or is it completely off limits for the bees. From my limited amount of research it seems manageable, what do you think?
Thanks!

Good question. I don't know how long after sprayed but have a question, how does he spray? Each tree by sprayer or tractor or crop dusting by plane? I would really be worried about the weeds and grasses around the trees that the bees forage on.
Allen, I'm pretty sure this is an aerial application. :(
