lot of bees on this 93 deg. afternoon. i was thinking that if the top box was drawn out and had eggs this hive would be a perfect candidate for a split. do u guys agree?

I can't see in the box so i just don't know.  Do you still have a flow of some kind on?  That helps a lot with splitting and then getting both colonies up to wintering weight.

Add more boxes and  split when it has 5 boxes.
