Title: honey from cappings........

any tricks for getting the honey from the cappings after extracting?

I have a wire mesh box for the cappings that sits over another container for the honey to drain into.

This is what I use now.    Clean it out every so often and freeze the cappings for later use.   Sometime let the bees clean it up.   Most time not.   You can bag it and spin it also.   Or bag it and squeeze it.

Like Allen mentioned the cappings could be put in a bag or a pair of knee high women's hose and squeezed out. I had thought about making some of my frames up like the old cut out frames that are split in two halves with a hinge bottom and put screen on both sides to spin in the extractor.

This is little bit expencive but pays soon itself back.
Volume is 5 liters
