The first thing to do is close down the entrance as much as possible to allow 1 or 2 bees spaces only. If there is no honey left, you obviously do not have a flow on, then you need to feed them. Use a top feeder. Keep a close eye on it. Feeding in a dearth causes robbing.

I had that same problem with a couple splits. I had to go to a baggie feeder with just two or three very small slits and feed just before dark and just enough feed to last till morning.
