Title: How late for splits

How late in the season is to late to do splits.  My hives are all double deeps now and i am thinking of splitting them into singles.  Would it be to late to do it some time in August?

If you have drawn frames yes.

I think Allen F means yes you could split them in August if you have drawn frames.

Ya.   Put them on drawn frames, then feed the crap out of them.
