Today I removed a hive from a house, and many of the bees have little bitty, deformed, shriveled wings.
If this is Deformed Wing Virus, what should I do with the bees and the comb? Shall I keep them or shall I destroy them?
Also...the queen is still in her queen clip...do you think it's safe to introduce her to a queenless hive?

DWV is usually a sign of heavy mite load...check mite counts and take it from there. Yes you can introduce the queen to a queenless hive. I would make sure they are queenless for 24 to be sure.

Thanks, Scott.
