thanks for the replies! i contacted bob harvey & he says he can help me. i also found 2 local guys who should have queens by the weekend. they are italian/hygienic & are just what i am looking for. i'mm putting a frame of brood into the queenless hive to keep them from going to a laying worker status.

the Weavers (http://www.rweaver.com) still have queens till october.
