Title: robotic bees?

Programmers are modelling the brain of a bee and using artificial intelligence techniques to produce a robotic bee.  Bees are a more complicated project since bees respond to external stimuli and have complex behavior.

Interesting link Frameshift. 

It's sure going to be a challenge to make an artificial bee.  Wonder if our right leaning bee keepers approve of this use of tax dollars?  Maybe a few dollars should be set aside to save the real McCoys.

After they succeed in modelling the brain of a bee, the next step will be to model the brain of a....   oh, I guess that should be in the Coffee House.   :evil:
