Title: Lots of queen cells in brood chamber
Post by: mroark on October 02, 2012, 06:20:07 PM
My bottom deep has one frame with about 11 queen cells. I'm not sure if they are getting ready to swarm (wrong time of year right?) or if my queen died and they are doing their thing and making a new one.

Here's a pick of the frame with all the queen cells.

do you have a queen? or any eggs that says she might have layed just days ago?

there was a bit of capped larva. I didn't think to look for eggs.
