G'day everybody,
Just wondering if anyone has seen any Patersons Curse in their area?
There's a little bit flowering around. Are you looking for big patches to put hives on or just wondering if it's the time of year for it?
Looking for some big patches...
It's a little early for Pattersons Curse (riverina bluebell) give it a few weeks till it warms up a bit. :)
there plenty of salvation Jane in SA...purple as far as the eye can see
People of a common ancestry and culture separated by a language! Amazing! Your descriptors are colorful to say the least! I wish it weren't so far! I would sure like to come and visit.

Hi all was just reading up on patersons curse, it may not be desirable as a honey after all, check this out.
Patersons curse (http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/scienceandeducation/factsheets/factsheets/patersonscursesalvat5335.cfm)
Travelled to Kerang last weekend. Plenty along the roadside between Bendigo and Kerang.
Maximum recommended is a 19% blend - but if you're not a regular eater of honey you can eat it straight - I found a patch along the Hume too!
I've never seen it up here in the hills. The area north of the divide seems the go.
