Yesterday we had a major infraction of the rules that resulted in punishment of a member.The member was not satisfied with our public rules of belittling other members but took it a step further via Private message.The recipient did the proper thing and forwarded it to the staff.
I had posted reminders in certain threads where I thought they were getting out of hand. I overlooked some of the interactions,but once it went to a personal attack via PM I pulled the plug.
So this is just a reminder to anyone in doubt,reread the forum rules and bylaws at the top of the forum home page.
I hate to lose any members this way,because I often interact with them myself.But personal attacks of this nature cannot be tolerated.
Hopefully we will not have to cross this bridge again. :-\
