Title: bee insurance?

has anyone heard of insurance for bees?
 and if so where might I find some?

Call a broker or agent and tell them what kind of coverage
(crop loss, vandalism, sickness, accidental death, liability due to injury) your looking for.

Nowadays if you've got the money for the premium. chances are good
you can BEE covered :lol:

I remember reading about a bee club that purchased a group policy
to cover the members against liability claims. I tried to search for it,
but came up empty, sorry.

(sigh) Unfortunately noone up here (minnesota) offers bee insurance due to the large (I mean very large) rate of death of bees each year. (Not me though, I got my tar paper!) But I had a few friends try and get it this past year and they got shot down by almost every insurance agency, except one. However it was around 700 dollars a year or something like that for 50 hives. Minnesota seems like it just doesn't like bees  :cry:
