I'm in the UK, have been keeping bees for 3 years now, what a learning curve! I keep my bees on allotments and mostly in nationals. ( I have an empty TBH which I hope to re-populate) It's freezing cold now here, although the bees were out collecting water and a bit of pollen the other day. Unfortunately the forecast for the next few weeks is dire. Come on Spring!
Welcome to the forum! Getting to be a lot of Brits here and folks from all over the world. The ground is frozen where my bees sit and it looks to be at least a month before they find pollen so my forecast is dire too!
Thanks for the welcome... am I 'hopelessly lost'?! That's referring to my lack of location in my profile or my state of mind?
I'm looking forward to reading and listening to how beekeepers from different parts of the world keep their bees.
Welcome to the forum lylmik, glad you found us. You guys can see the ground?
I'm tired of snow plowing. Come on spring.
Haven't had snow stick to the ground here for over 20 years. - We're due anytime now...
Welcome!

Welcome to the forum.
Hello and welcome.
Please educate me. What do you mean by "I keep my bees on allotments"?
A new term to me.
Thanks and good luck.
Thanks all, for your welcome.
Seag2425, allotments are small plots of land for town and city dwellers to grow vegetables/flowers. Very popular now in the UK, most sites have a long waiting list. Some sites allow bees, and luckily mine does! :bee:
Thanks for the information. Can never get enough education.
