Title: Canadian Bee Quarter
Post by: fshrgy99 on March 19, 2013, 02:32:08 PM
This is one pretty quarter!

I have bought some of these in the silver series (unfortunately no bees) for Grand kids but only when they were sold for face value. This is a nice coin but I can't see myself coughing up $30 bucks for .25 even if it does send a buzz through me :)

Still thought it nice enough to share on the forum.

It is a good looking coin. Never could understand why countries make coins that everyone wants to collect and then they are never in circulation. Just costs us a whole lot more for them to make more coins. I guess they want to keep the presses running.

Too bad the mint didn't put some of these into circulation...very pretty.  Thanks for sharing!
