Just wanted to say "hi" and offer some thanks in advance for all the helpful folks here who offer their knowledge about bees. I recently purchased the components for my first hive from our local beekeeping supplier Glory Bee, and I've been putting together the 10 frame Langstroth hive this past week in anticipation of my bee package which arrives next weekend.

welcome.  you have lots of beekeeping buddies in oregon!

when you get the chance, go into your profile and put your location. it will make it easier in the future.

Welcome to the forum, Nonprophet.  Check to see if you have a local bee club, they can also bee helpful.  Good luck with your bees
