Just found this forum and am excited to learn all I can. My wife and I are just beginning our first hive this year. We installed our bees three weeks ago and they have been "busy as bees." We checked on them yesterday and found three frames that were full of capped brood and three more frames that were drawn out with eggs and larva. I found the queen, which was exciting, too! :-D OK, glad to be here!
Welcome to the forum Tom, glad you found us.
Welcome to the forum, Tom. You can find a lot of info here, and you may, if you haven't like to join a local bee club also. Good luck to you and your bees

Welcome to the forum.
Welcome to the forum, Tom. Congratulations to you and your wife for completely losing your mind (according to miscellaneous friends and family). Enjoy the adventure!!!!

Welcome to this crazy world we call beekeeping. You are already hooked, I can tell. I am just north of you in Sumner Co. Who did you get your bees from? Glad to hear they are doing so well. Have FUN! :-D
I am here in Nashville too and welcome to the forum.
Welcome. Good luck with your girls.
Welcome Tom, Mrs Tom.
I didn't know that bees played country music :cindi:

Welcome. Sounds like you are off to a great start.
Thanks, all, for the warm welcome! Wow! We have been having some amazingly beautiful weather here in Middle Tennessee the past few days and the girls have been having a feast on all the blooming things around us! We have a couple of crab-apple trees in our front yard that opened up over the weekend. I stood under them on Sunday afternoon and could hear the loud buzzing! Man, they had those trees covered up! :-D
Beeman, we got our bees from John and Ruth Seaborn at Wolf Creek Apiaries. They are the 4.9 bees. And, yes, Ed, we have pretty much lost our minds on this. But we are having fun together!
Welcome Sir and Ma'am
Best of luck to Y'all.
